This is a great resource to search the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Cloisters by accession number. You have the option of searching by the accession number or browsing by department. Unfortunately not all objects are included in this, but it’s very easy to search. The catalogued works also include descriptions, alternate views and citation information.
